Job Description:
Sales of Voice over Internet Protocol services to Single and Multi-Location Small to Medium Businesses.
Minimum Experience:
Must have a minimum of 1 years Direct B-to-B Sales Experience preferably with a telecommunications or VoIP provider. Alternatively, must have 2 years experience as a Telecommunication or IT Manager with a Small to Medium Business. Working for an IT consulting firm is acceptable with some telecommunications background as well. IP PBX/Phone System experience a plus.
For the right candidate, with several years of successful B to B sales experience, we will entertain bringing a person on with no Telecommunications or Voice over IP background
Must have Experience doing the following:
Prospecting for new business, managing a complicated sales process, application selling experience, i.e. take a customer's existing configuration and business applications and develop a business solution for the customer with the product set offered. Building and presenting sales presentations using Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. Territory Management. Funnel Management. Proven track record of working remotely with minimal oversight.
Should have a background in the following disciplines, and have the ability to blend them together to address individual customer needs/applications:
Telecommunications
Information Technology
Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) desired but not required
This position offers an non-recoverable draw against commissions in months one and two and then provides a small salary from then on. Up-front commission are paid every two-weeks and there is the potential to grow into a salaried Management Position. Minimum expected income at AE-1 quota is $45,000 first year with $80,000 well within reason. Strong performers will exceed $100k. The position will include Health Benefits. Employee must qualify on an individual basis with our health care provider and the company will pay a portion of the resulting premium. 401k with company match is available after minimum wait times are met.
The product we sell not only saves the customer money, sometimes in excess of 40%, but also helps them improve the way they do business on a day-to-day basis. Our customers are small to medium sized businesses with 2 to 25 employees in single or multiple locations. The commission program pays as much as $125.00 up-front per trunk/employee sold. I.e a company with 25 tunks/employees would generate a commission of up to $3,125! Up-front commissions are paid every two weeks. There is an opportunity to earn residual income from all customers as well.
